St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church, Brahmamangalam

The St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church was built at Karippadom, Brahmamangalam back in 1881.

The Church was built by the team led by Uthuppan Punnathura Pallikunnel, Punnoose Konethu and Ulhannan Manakkattu. They were members of St. Thomas Church, Chembu. People from Karippadom, Brahmamangalam, Enadi, Maravanthuruthu, Thottara, Vadayar and Thalayolaparambu became parishioners of this Church.

The construction of the current church along with a parish hall started in 2003 by Fr. Joy Kalavelil and was blessed by Mar Mathew Moolakkatt on 27-Jan -2008.
